Upholstered In...
Soft ‘n’ Easy Leather - a beautifully soft and supple semi-aniline leather with a smooth waxy feel that is gently tumbled for extra softness. This leather is lightly brushed with a blend of oils and beeswax to allow the natural variations of the hide to show through, producing a lightly distressed, matt finish. When pulled over the contours of a chesterfield, the leather is gently stretched creating natural shades and highlights in the leather’s surface that produce a rich variation of colour and depth. This full-grain leather carries all its lived experience, proudly showing its scars and natural marks, giving a truly unique character that will develop and mature over time.
Frame Construction
The frame is made with 100% slowly kiln-dried, solid beech and birch wood that is screwed, glued and dowelled with additional corner braces for maximum strength.
Seat Base & Back
A fully sprung seat and back using plenty of springs give great support whilst multiple layers of foam and extra padding mean no sagging and outstanding comfort. Each button is skilfully hand-stitched deep into place using just the right amount of tension to create soft and even padded diamond shapes, the hallmark of a chesterfield sofa.
Seat Cushion
Superior quality fibre wrapped around our unique composite of high grade foams creates our unique comfort blend cushions. Each has channels sewn inside to help prevent the fibre from moving around and is tried and tested to create what we believe is the perfect blend of comfort and longevity.
Sofa Stands On...
Handmade, solid-wood, flat bun feet with a slightly distressed matt finish in Walnut. Removable if required.

A contemporary chesterfield sofa with generous proportions and substantial stature, Frankie has it all. A distinctive rollback and deep buttoning blended with low-slung arms, deep sumptuous cushions and our signature double piping creates a contemporary style sofa that has all the charm and character of a chesterfield, with the added advantage of being a very comfortable ‘everyday’ sofa. With a deeper-than-average seat and a sloping back, Frankie has plenty of room to sit back and relax. Over sixty hours of handcrafting have gone into creating Frankie making each one unique and exclusive to Simply Chesterfields.
Delivery Information
Delivery: 10-12 weeks
We do our utmost to ensure we keep to our quoted delivery times, but as all our furniture is handmade to order (each piece takes at least 50 hours to make), timescales may vary occasionally. For a precise production time, please just ask when you are placing your order. We will keep you updated regularly as your new chesterfield is being made.
How Much Is Delivery?
Delivery is FREE to most of the UK mainland. However, we will need to make a small delivery charge to certain locations due to their remoteness. To view these locations and for more information, see our delivery page.
Simple Returns
We are sure you will love your new chesterfield as much as we do, but if for any reason you are not 100% happy, just return it. It’s as simple as that. You have 28 days to make up your mind, no problem. Zero risk for you and we will refund you in full within 7-14 working days. All we ask is that your item is in the same condition as it was when we dropped it off.
Our Simple Guarantee
Handmade to order, each sofa is a one-off commission created in the traditional heartland of England's furniture-making region and is covered by our “Simple Guarantee". Should any structural or manufacturing fault occur within 15 years of delivery, we will replace or repair your item free of charge.

The real beauty of making furniture by hand is the ability to customise it. Every sofa can be made in any size with any finish of leather, fabric or even a combination of both. Colour Match
Please be aware that although every effort has been made to represent the true colour of our sofas and chairs, colours can display differently from screen to screen. Please expect there to be some shade variation on the item you receive. We advise ordering a free swatch before purchase if in any doubt.
