Nestled in the beautiful Surrey Hills, you’ll find us in the historic market town of Farnham, Surrey. This picturesque town boasts a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages and remains brimming with character to this day.
Our shop is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am–4pm. Private viewings are available by appointment on Mondays and Sundays, and we are happy to arrange evening appointments for your convenience.

A Celebration of Craft
Rooted in traditional craftsmanship, Farnham has always maintained its artisan spirit. We’ve sought to honour that tradition by engaging a local signwriter, who painted our signage entirely by hand and embellished it with 23ct gold leaf, perfectly complementing what we believe is one of Farnham’s most charming streets.
We’ve also collaborated with local artists who have adorned our shop with handcrafted ceramics, mirrors, pictures, and other art pieces, many of which are available for you to take home.
So come and have a browse; you may just discover a unique hidden gem among our sofas that makes your visit truly memorable.
Farnham’s Charm
As part of your visit, take time to wander Farnham’s cobbled lanes, dip into its history, explore local crafts, or simply pause for lunch at one of the many welcoming independent cafés and restaurants.
Just a short stroll away is the Farnham Maltings, a vibrant arts centre hosting events, crafts, and antiques. The New Ashgate Gallery, the UK’s oldest small arts charity, showcases contemporary craft and visual art in a stunning 17th-century setting. And just outside town, The Farnham Pottery presents fine handmade ceramics from talented local artists (you’ll also find some of their pieces in our shop), a true testament to the town’s creative heritage.
Nature lovers will enjoy the Surrey Hills, only minutes away, with sweeping views and tranquil walks in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Movie fans can step into nearby Bourne Wood, a filming location for Gladiator, Harry Potter, and Game of Thrones. For even more atmosphere, the ruins of Waverley Abbey rest peacefully beside the River Wey, offering both beauty and a glimpse into monastic life nearly 900 years ago. Overlooking it all, Farnham Castle invites you to explore its 12th-century keep and join a guided tour of the historic Bishop’s Palace.

By Car
Farnham is well connected via the A31, with direct links to Guildford, Winchester, the A3, and the M3. Convenient parking is available nearby, so you can take your time exploring our collection.
By Train
Regular services run from London Waterloo to Farnham in just under an hour. From the station, it’s a short, pleasant stroll through the town to our door.
Finding Simply Chesterfields is easy — it’s leaving, after experiencing the comfort and craftsmanship of our furniture, that may prove the hard part.
