Vintage Leather - our exclusive Vintage Leather has been meticulously crafted to achieve an authentic, weathered, vintage appearance. This top-quality, half-grain, semi-aniline leather undergoes a gentle brushing process using a blend of oils and beeswax, which enhances its natural character and saturates the leather with warmth and vitality. Through hand buffing and gentle tumbling, the leather develops subtle cracks and textures, resulting in a slightly distressed matte finish. When pulled over the contours of a Chesterfield footstool, the leather stretches easily, generating subtle variations and revealing natural shades and highlights that enhance its distinctive charm, creating a lived-in look. This leather carries a lifetime of experience, proudly displaying scars and natural marks, culminating in a truly distinctive personality that only grows more remarkable with time. Construction
The frame is crafted from 100% slowly kiln-dried solid hardwood, meticulously screwed, glued, and dowelled, with added corner braces for maximum durability. Reinforced with ample upholstery straps and premium soft reflex foam, it delivers exceptional support, while multiple layers of plush padding maintain its shape over time. The result is the perfect combination of lasting comfort and enduring strength.

Delivery Information
Delivery: 4-6 weeks
We do our utmost to ensure we keep to our quoted delivery times, but as all our furniture is handmade to order (each piece takes at least 20 hours to make), timescales may vary occasionally. For a precise production time, please just ask when you are placing your order. We will keep you updated regularly as your new chesterfield is being made.
How Much Is Delivery?
Delivery is FREE to most of the UK mainland. However, we will need to make a small delivery charge to certain locations due to their remoteness. To view these locations and for more information, see our delivery page.
Simple Returns
We are sure you will love your new chesterfield as much as we do, but if for any reason you are not 100% happy, just return it. It’s as simple as that. You have 28 days to make up your mind, no problem. Zero risk for you and we will refund you in full within 7-14 working days. All we ask is that your item is in the same condition as it was when we dropped it off.
Our Simple Guarantee
Handmade to order, each sofa is a one-off commission created in the traditional heartland of England's furniture-making region and is covered by our “Simple Guarantee". Should any structural or manufacturing fault occur within 15 years of delivery, we will replace or repair your item free of charge.

The real beauty of making furniture by hand is the ability to customise it. Every footstool can be made in any size with any finish of leather, fabric or even a combination of both. Please be aware that although every effort has been made to represent the true colour of our footstools, colours can display differently from screen to screen. Please expect there to be some shade variation on the item you receive. We advise ordering a free swatch before purchase if in any doubt.
