Leather Chesterfields
The leather Chesterfield is the perfect choice if you're looking for furniture with a rich history and a touch of class. Equally at home in a formal sitting room or casual family space, it effortlessly blends style with comfort.
While its exact origins remain a bit of a mystery, it is believed the first was created in the 1700s at the request of Lord Philip Stanhope, the 4th Earl of Chesterfield. The early design’s low seat and high back would allow gentlemen to sit without wrinkling and creasing their clothing, however, the shallow buttoning and horsehair filler didn’t make it particularly comfortable.
The Victorian era saw great improvements to the design: deep-set buttoning, coiled spring suspension and softer fillers led to the Chesterfield becoming not only more comfortable, but a much sought-after statement piece gracing many country estates, fine houses, and gentlemen’s clubs.
Over the years, the Chesterfield has continued to evolve, incorporating modern fillings, sleeker lines, and various styles while holding on to its iconic design that has stood the test of time, creating a timeless symbol of elegance and sophistication.

Vintage Leather
Our signature Vintage Leather has been specially developed creating a genuine vintage quality. This half grain, semi aniline leather of the highest quality, is lightly brushed with a blend of oils and beeswax, enriching the natural characteristics of the hide and injecting warmth and life into the leather. Hand buffing and gentle tumbling further develops the natural cracks and textures, producing a subtle, distressed, matt finish. When perfectly hugging the contours of a chesterfield sofa, natural shades and highlights are created in the leather’s surface enriching its natural character giving a beautiful, lived-in look. This leather carries all its lived experience, giving a truly unique character that only improves with age, wearing in not wearing out.

Seasoned Leather
Seasoned Leather is a natural half-grain, semi-aniline leather with a semi-matt finish which is smooth to the touch, producing a real feel of quality. Hand-dyed to recreate the complex depth of natural colours only time and nature can create, it has a gorgeous, cracked surface that enhances the overall texture and rich variation of shades and tones. This leather carries all its lived experience showing off its unique character having been sealed to help prevent soiling and scratching, it's hard-wearing and family-friendly. A simply fantastic heritage leather that looks like it’s seen it all and will only get better with age.

Soft 'n' Easy
Soft ‘n’ Easy Leather is a beautifully soft and supple semi-aniline leather with a soft waxy feel, gently tumbled for extra softness. Lightly brushed with a blend of oils and beeswax, allows the natural variations of the hide to show through, producing a lightly distressed, matt finish. When pulled over the contours of a chesterfield, natural shades and highlights are created in the leather’s surface allowing all the natural characteristics of the hide to shine through. This full-grain leather carries all its lived experience, giving a truly unique character that only gets better and better with age.

Ol’ School Leather
Ol’ School Leather is a wonderfully supple semi-aniline leather which is soft and silky to the touch. Hand-finished using a special tanning process, the leather retains all the qualities and characteristics of semi-aniline leather but with the durability of a pigmented hide. Gently tumbled for extra softness, it brings out the natural grain creating a crackled, matt finish that has a nice consistency of colour, tone and texture. A robust coating has been applied to help prevent soiling and scratching making it very durable and family-friendly. This full-grain leather carries all its lived experience, giving a truly unique character that only gets better and better with age.

Classic Leather
Classic is a top-grain aniline leather infused with a special blend of natural oils and waxes that enhances the natural texture creating a subtle distressed appearance. Gently tumbled and lightly buffed to enhance softness and suppleness, it has a subtle crackle effect with a soft waxy feel. When stretched over the contours of a Chesterfield, the oil and wax blend interact with the leather, causing the colour to shift, creating lighter tones in the pulled areas that add a truly matured look. Designed to allow the natural variations of the leather to show through, evidence of marks and scarring may be seen through the surface giving a unique character and authenticity. To ensure durability a protective clear topcoat is applied that enhances wearability and adds a gentle lustre. Hardwearing and family friendly it can withstand the demands of everyday use while maintaining its exceptional appearance.

Rustic Leather is a supple top-grain aniline leather that undergoes a unique dyeing process, resulting in rich flowing colour deep in the leather. Hand buffing and gentle tumbling enhance the natural textures and saturate the leather with extra softness. The careful application of transparent waxes and oils brings forth the hide's natural character, resulting in a very soft texture, silk-like touch, and a semi-matte finish. When stretched across the contours of a Chesterfield, the colour moves and shifts to create subtle lighter tones producing a rustic feel. This leather is designed to showcase its natural variations, allowing marks and scars to be visible contributing to its unique character and authentic charm that will develop and mature over time.

Luxuriously soft and supple, Lux Leather has undergone meticulous refinement to accentuate the inherent qualities of genuine leather. Through intensive polishing and buffing, a beautifully consistent finish is achieved. The leather is delicately tumbled to enhance its plushness, then undergoes careful dyeing in an array of stylish colours. Finally, a super soft pigmented topcoat is applied to provide protection against dirt and scratches, ensuring exceptional durability and effortless maintenance. This leather is ideal for families, boasting an irresistibly silky texture that exudes warmth and comfort, culminating in a delightful, velvety eggshell finish.
